Lucky to have had David as my professor at Swain School of Design back in the late 80's. His passion and knowledge for painting is reflected in his work. As an educator and mentor, he was "that person" who changed and enlightened so many young artists. Being in his presence was joyful and intimidating. I look at this painting everyday and it is also joyful and intimidating. Thank you, David.

The “2012 Kansas City Flatfile” is an exhibition featuring two-dimensional artwork by Kansas City-based artists in media including drawing, photography, prints and mixed-media works on paper as well as time-based artwork in the “Videofile."

This invitational biennial exhibition provides visitors with a unique and intimate art viewing experience, encouraging viewers to browse through individual artist portfolios stored within flatfile cabinets, or select video works to screen in the “Videofile.”

The flatfile ex­hibition has become a much-anticipated venue to discover new artists, see new bodies of artwork by familiar artists and purchase artworks to include in art collections.

St. Lukes Hospital Kansas City

"Ice, Steam and Sky" commissioned by Saint Lukes Hospital Kansas City, Missouri. Located on the second floor of the main lobby in the cardio ward.

Several of my drawings done at Dr. Sketchy Kansas City will be on display at The Late Show Gallery's Valentine Show and Slap and Tickle Gallery's Erotica Show. Both are open for First Friday 2/3/2012.
